Job Description
Duties and responsibilities
Support the effective rolling out of the integration energy of sustainable and renewable energy aspirations within the county
Conduct repairs for energy infrastructure within the county
Prepare field inspection reports and submit to the engineer
Prepare maintenance schedule for energy infrastructure within the county
Assist the energy engineer in the project design, specification and preparation of BQs
Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time by the energy engineer or county director of energy
Requirements for appointment
Be a Kenyan Citizen
Be in possession of a diploma in electrical engineering
Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working as an electrician
Experience in solar or wind energy will be desirable
Have a good conduct and management skills
Demonstrate ability to handle complex processes and information integration issues
Ability to remain effective under minimal supervision
Ability to interpret electrical drawings
Be registered with Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) as an electrician-Class C2/C1
